Sybil Neal - Paralegal

Sybil grew up in Northwest Indiana where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. She moved to Michigan, married her husband, Shawn. Together, they enjoy antiquing and DIY projects. Their daughter, Abigail, resides in Indiana with son, Dejai. Shortly after moving to Michigan, Sybil attended Kellogg Community College and received a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Paralegal Studies. Sybil is an important leader in the Q Elderlaw team as she does a little bit of everything from paralegal duties, to office scheduler, and even resident crafter of wonderful homemade gifts. Sybil has been with Q Elderlaw, PLC since March of 2016.

Jennifer Smith- Associate Attorney

Jennifer A. Smith is originally from Comstock, Michigan but traveled extensively as a child with her family and ultimately settled in New Orleans. Ms. Smith went to law school in Washington, D.C. and remained in that area for nearly 30 years, working as an attorney in the area of criminal law, as an appeal examiner for the Government of the District of Columbia, and then holding various legal and quasi-legal positions with universities, hospitals and a community management company. Ms. Smith returned to New Orleans in 2012 to be with family, and then moved back to Michigan in 2013 for the same reason. Jennifer became licensed to practice law in Michigan and joined the Q Elderlaw team in  June of 2017.   Jennifer's easy going nature, attention to detail and connections with clients immediately made her an essential part of the Q Elderlaw team.
